Academic Advising

Starting a new semester can be exciting and overwhelming. Meet with an advisor who can help you create an academic plan to make sure you have a path to graduation, assist with course selection and registration, and discuss transfer and career goals.

New Students

Orientation for new students starts from the moment they are admitted, and includes:

• Completing the Welcome/Orientation Course on Canvas (the online course management system allows professors to post grades, information, and assignments online)
• New Student Week (an entire week of activities to help new students learn about academic programs and student support services)
• Workshops

Meet With an Advisor:

• Schedule a One-on-One Appointment with an Advisor
• Same Day Walk-In Options: West Hall, 2nd Floor
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
